Creative Web Designer/Digital Media Designer (Full-time)

We are an established, full-service exhibition design and manufacturing company based in Kürten, Germany, approximately 25 km/16 mi east of Cologne. For over 30 years, CHRITTO has provided top quality, ready-for-use solutions for exhibitors worldwide.  We specialize in booth construction, brand management and live-communication.  Due to our company’s rapid growth, we are looking for experienced, motivated individuals to join our team.

We are currently seeking a creative web/digital media designer (permanent, part-time or full-time), available as of September 1, 2011.

Job Description:

·       At least 3 years of on-the-job training or a degree in Media Design

·       Extensive experience creating and publishing internet sites

·       Extensive experience using PHP, Flash, CSS, XHTML, Javascript, XSLT, XML, Dreamweaver, AJAX, and Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, social networks and HTML5 basics

·       Experience with print media

·       Knowledge of content management systems and experience with online marketing

·       Ability to work as a team with our customers and a strong customer service orientation

·       Advanced understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

·       Fluent written and spoken English

·       And, above all, a strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail as well as innovative design!  We seek a ‘designer with technical expertise,’ not a ‘technician with design experience.’
